Presentation-is a former or an informal report usually given orally sometimes called a speech or a talk.
Thumbnails-the slide tab that contains a small view of all slides in the presentation.
Splitter bars -horizontal or vertical bars that separate the left, slide and notes panes in normal view.
Title slide-the first slide in a presentation.
Title -the main topic of any given slide that is displayed.
Placeholder-is a preset location reserving space for a slide element.
Title area -Is a placeholder for the slide's title.
Text area -Is a placeholder for a subtitle or a numbered or bulleted list.
Object area-Is reserved for objects.
Rich Text Format (RTF) - A file format with the extension that enables text to be transferred and read by different applications, such as word.
Auto Content Wizard-is a tool that can help you create a presentation easily with programed layouts, design, and text.
Boilerplate text -standard text which is appropriate for that type of presentation.
Indent level- is a number that indicates the indent and importance of the subtitle in relation to the title.
Promote - move a subtitle to the higher level you Can promote.
Demote - a subtitle to a lower level, which increases the indent and reduces the type size.
Object - the slides in a presentation which are non text elements such as charts, tables, clip art, pictures, photos, movie clips, or other type of information.
Subtitle - any text that's follows the title and gives more detail about the title.
Color scheme- the eight colors used in the design of a power point presentation-colors for backgrounds, fonts,hyperlinks,etc.A presentation 's color scheme varies depending on the design template used In the presentation.
Design Template- a file that contains the preprogramed formatting available for a PowerPoint presentation,such as colors,backgrounds,fonts, and bulletins.
Slide layout-A particular combination of placeholders on a PowerPoint slide,reserving space for text and/or graphical elements.
